Modem

Router
A device that distributes an internet connection from your modem to multiple devices — wirelessly (Wi-Fi) or via Ethernet cables. It manages traffic between all devices on your network.
HTTPS
HyperText Transfer Protocol Secure — an encrypted version of the standard web protocol. Websites using HTTPS display a padlock icon in the browser, indicating that data exchanged with the site is encrypted.
Phishing
A cyberattack technique where fraudulent emails, texts, or websites impersonate trusted sources to trick you into sharing passwords, financial information, or personal data.
